If her elevator doesn't go to the top keep her in rubber room for evaluation and hopefully the help she needs. Dont cut her loose , she could be trying to start another fire right now.
If she is just plain evil lock the beech up for 10 years.

Sick and tired of the mental illness defence. Yes they may be mentally ill, total brain dysfunction, is it a justification for their actions, sure, but it doesn't matter. If their mental illness creates a threat to society then they need to be institutionalized. Mental illness should not be a reason to let them off, rather it is a reason to lock them up.

Looks like the police did their jobs...and the Court system failed, yet once again.

Wonder how things are going in Ottawa on the supposed Bail Reform review? Haven't heard much about it lately...

Through projects in the east, we have learned that the Forest Fires Prevention Act in Ontario also provides for fines up to $25,000 for citizens, up to $500 000 for corporations plus the total cost of putting a fire out, in addition to jail time.

There have been cases identified where citizens couldn't bear the cost financially once proven so jail time was the alternative.

Wildfire prevention and policy was a key component in many of the RFPs of late in eastern projects.
