Default Calling lake report

Fished Calling for three hours sunday morning. Really slow 1 walleye 46 cm 1 pike about 70 and 1 broken leader that was it. Nobody fishing 0 had to phone my buddy to make sure there wasn't some kind of crazy closure couldn't even see another hole out there. This was on the east side we walked out at the regular spot (tower). Ice appeared to be 12 inches+. Had to leave at 11 and go to the emergency vet. 5500 dollars, surgery and a sleepless night later and he might live. Vet says hes stable and can probably be picked up today.

Default where

to bad about your dog, Vets are soooooo expensive, too bad you can't claim it under your health insurance. I tried once with sunlife and they laughed at me. Did you drive on the ice? where approx. were you fishing? I find it hard to beleive that with the walleye quantity/size we were catching all summer that it would be that slow in the winter. Also it is a pretty popular lake. I wonder why no one was out???
