Default Barracuda in Grand Bahamas

Anyone with experience able to offer a nube some fishing tips for barracuda? I'll be there in January staying close to Xanadu Beach and Marina.

I've fished for them in several locations. In each place the techniques I tried were pretty effective. Just think of them as salt-water Pike. You will find them around the reefs, and even in the flats.

Live bait rigs, crankbaits, jigging, streamers...... don't forget to have a wire leader.

I had a blast in Barbados on the sheltered reefs. Rent a row boat, catch a few crabs on the beach. Crabs caught reef fish to be used for live bait, which caught Barracuda and Grouper. I even got lucky and caught a 40 lb Wahoo that day. Not bad for a $50 boat rental.

Thanks WB,

So far, I've lined up a small boat and motor plus I've ordered some surgical tubing to fashion inton lures, I've read/heard they are the best for barracuda.
