Default Perch Fishing on Cow Lake

I was wondering if anyone has been out to Cow by Rocky Mountain House ? I was out there last winter and had a ton of fun pulling in some decent Perch 12-14". Caught the odd Brood trout as well and a few nice size pike...Curious if the ice is thick enough for driving on yet?

It's a trout that's been used as brood stock in the hatchery. Basically the hatchery keeps some large fish to lay eggs over the years, and once these fish are near the end of their life cycle they release them into various lakes.

I wouldn't be driving on anything just yet. The are lakes have between 7 and 10 inches of ice. And depending where you go on cow, the ice takes a long time to harden up because of the stream flow.
