Default Carson and little Carson...bait ?

Would like to ice fish these two lakes back to back as they are just km away from each other. Any one know if you can drive up to the ice on little Mcleod with a truck this time of year or is there a gait that is closed.

I have iced fished Pegasus for trout using maggots ,but are you allowed maggots or minnows on Little Mcleod ?

Not sure about little mc but we were at Carson last week.
24” of ice and we drove out, maybe 2” of snow on the lake.. Landed a few but slow day on the lake for everyone we chatted with. Good luck.

I have been there for a couple years........I used meal worms on Carson for trout and you should be able to drive to the lesser lake all the way down to the parking lot next to the lake. It's not gaited. I'd use a combination of a spoon or your favourite jackfish lure topped off with a herring/smelt chunk.

The trout are in Carson. Pegasus only have pike, micro perch and whites
