Ocean fishing rod question

I have come across an ocean rod. Does anyone ever hear of a rod company called "Kirks Custom Rods". If you could help me out?

Never heard of them, but companies like Lamiglas and even Shimano are decent bets. I'm a lamiglas guy though.

Anyone can build a rod and put there name on it. Saying that doesn't mean it's good or not so good. You may have something there that has a very high quality blank. I would take it to a fishing store and compare it to any of the rods they have so you can get idea of the quality. Some of the guys know the material used in rod building so I would be talkng with them. If you taked with several of them you could get a good idea of the quality.
