Default Guide to Tip-Up Fishing for Pike

I have noticed that, over the last little while, there have been quite a few posts from people that are new to ice fishing looking for advice. My son has been making fishing and hunting videos for a little bit and he decided that he should make a 'Guide to Tip-Up Fishing for Pike'.

If you have seen any of his videos on YouTube in the past, you know that we ice fish for pike quite a bit. This video includes many of the things that I/we have learned over hundreds of trips over the past 2 decades. Hopefully you learn something new that increases your chances of having a successful trip.

Thanks. Always appreciate tips or how to videos. Either I learned something new or confirms something I already know. Straight fishing videos are sometimes boring.

With your pike rig, does the bait hang horizontal, or is it angled down a bit? I've always wondered if it makes a difference....

We normally lay our baits on the bottom, but if you were to suspend them they would hang at an angle.
