Daughter’s Elk Down boys!!
Well… not that cold no more..
We got up late, stopped at couple landowners… met up with the boys.
Then the herd showed up.
Stuff got a little intense.
My kid got this big cow, kneeling…. 175 yards. Spined it.
I bled her out and helped her pass along.
Nice to have the girls to help process.
Tenderloin for dinner boys!!!

Good on your girl for dropping her elk! But that sure seems like sweatshop child labor, those girls doing all the cutting. I'm not sure if you should get any tenderloin, standing around taking pictures.
Probably a good thing you let her use the -06, instead of that old Enfield nonsense too.

Congrats to the young huntress. Looks like you can hang up your gun Bessiedog and the girls will keep the meat coming in the future. You can be full time videographer on the hunts.

Congrats to the Huntress. Nice harvest. Jealous as I always asked my girl to come for a quad ride/hunting with dad. She loves to eat it but hunting them is not her thing. But that's ok, she loves to fish so we have that.
