Cold weather waterproof pants

Your Cabelas pants- do they get wet from laying in the snow if you have to lay down?

Hi: I don't think they would get wet...but to be honest I never lay in the snow. These pants are made of Cabela's waterproof Breathable "goretex" knock off material and they breath pretty good. No moisture build up inside....even in cold temps

Worst snow camo I ever had for coyotes was tyvec paint coveralls. First bush,willow patch, crunchy snow bank you encountered resulted in ripped tyvec all over the place. Then reach down to pick up a coyote and the back and crotch blew out. By the end of the first stand I was down to rags.
I spend on what gets most use. I coyote hunt for 3 months of the year and am most passionate about coyotes.
Big game gets Carhartt, savage rifle and bargain gear. Coyotes get top of the line camo, custom rifle and custom calls.

Curently I'm using Kings Camo white camo pants and they have been working well for me. Still worth it to brush off the snow before you get in the truck but nowhere near the same water retention over time.

I went from Kings to Redhead because I was always was wet... but yes kings is great stuff. But not water proof..Got lots kings with tags still on them??

Have a set of Predator Brand Snow Camo bibs.
Not made anymore but are the cats meow.
Not water proof but only wear them when its worse than -15C as they are 3M thinsulated.
Wish I had been able to buy the matching jacket but a Ravage Grizzly snow parka blends well with it.
