Some great replies here. Nothing wrong with a group of happy fathers cheering a person on to get one past the goalie! which was my intention. This is an outdoors forum indeed and tents are being pitched
I am very happily married to the most awesome women and perfect mother, the timing has been carefully planned. My boy starts school next year which will allow my wife to be home from work and cut the $950 day care costs. Plus, I really want another child. $2000 a month for day care with both parents working can be done but I still want everything I currently have
Not that kids are toys, but I have had almost every kind of man made machine built that has brought me a lot of joy and I didn't realize what I was missing out on by not having any offspring. I was too busy paying for all of those machines and maybe to selfish to know anything else I guess.
As I get much wiser with age I'm realizing now what a real joy being a parent is all about
Thanks for the positive comments guys! The wife and I agreed if all goes to heck with our relationship which hasn't ever over the past 14 years we would stay together regardless of circumstance until our kids leave home. And we meant it! We both come from divorced parents and we both refuse to do that to our own.
