So I know there is no really new exciting gopher hunting story, however today I started trying something new.
Y'Know when you walk up to a gopher that just has his head sticking out of the hole, of course you can try and pop it and put one through his eye,
however today I was trying something new, When you walk up to them and they dont like how close you are they give a final whistle and actually turn their bodies around and bomb down the hole.
For a SPLIT second, you can see their ass end as they rip down the hole, I've now taken the challenge of shooting them with the new gopher rig, just as they turn around and give me a shot at their back end. Makes it a little more challenging. Something needed after the 50th gopher of the day explodes.
