That was a great game of hockey. Both teams performed, lots of action, goalies did awesome. Refs didn't change much... but am I the only one that thinks Draisaitl moves like the tin man from the wizard of Oz.

The last few wins have been big character hard fought wins.

3 points out of first and tied for the longest current winning streak, good job boys!

The big German can move however when you put up 72 points in 47 games who cares,

I think he is still dealing with ankle issues from last playoffs. Some games he moves so similar to how he did after being hurt, laboured and awkward.

Doesn’t help also you play majority of your minutes next to a guy who makes everyone else look like they’re in slow motion.

Any comment?

Playing up to expectations. Stick to the game plan and playing better defense as a team.

Another solid game, the Canucks had a good push back but the Oil held fast, 6 in a row, it's nice to watch. I feel for Bruce though, the management of the Canucks should be ashamed, no class what so ever

Fun fact.
Hopkins and Mcdavid are the only Canadians in the nhl with more points than Hyman.

Agree on this one, should have just called him in the office and be done with it but in another positive he got to say goodbye and thank you.

I said something had to change over a month ago though.....still the Canucks were the best dressed team out there

4 of the top 12 point getters. Oiler also have the most goals in the league.
Goal differential of +20 while LA is a -7, yet LA is ahead in the standings. Weird. They do have 3 more loser points though

I’m just glad the oil held back until mid season. Kinda fun climbing and clawing to the top.
Early shot of playoff hockey this year.

Sure has been nice to see last spring’s team starting to reappear. Let the good times roll!

Speaking of Vancouver did anyone catch the Fox 5 news report from Washington about the Van trainwreck? Oh my!

https://twitter.com/i/status/1617573876476657696

She just BUTCHERS 3 names in one story.

Calls the Nux the Canooks

Cant pronounce Boudreau's name, he only coached there for five years!

She obviously doesn't proof read her news script before she goes on air.

She seriously needs some English classes

Check that
"Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane will not play when his club takes on the Columbus Blue Jackets Wednesday due to a personal matter, head coach Jay Woodcroft announced."

Unreal, I have to blame it on Jack Micheals, before the game he was yapping about the oilers haven't won 7 straight in 20 years and tonight they are playing the worst team in the league ........ he jinks them

They didn't seem like they had any jump last night, seemed Columbus beat them to the puck most of the time

A lousy Betman point .... next we get the 2nd worst team in the league

I think they might have still been hungover from a 3 day bender...

I didn't expect them to be sharp after a long layoff like that, but I didn't expect them to be that dull either, that was a pretty brutal showing. The D corp was just bad, and the top 6 was out of sync and forcing it, even McDavid looked pretty mortal after the first 5 mins.

That's the worst game I've seen Draisaitl play in a long time. Obviously Woodcroft agreed with me as he was steadily demoted throughout the game. He shouldn't have been out there in OT at that point IMHO. I don't know if he's hurt or what, but he better get his head in it.

Oh well, bank the point and take out the frustration on CHI Saturday night...
