Hey that’s me in one of your picks. Fishing was poor today. I don’t usually get skunked to the point I can say I didn’t even get a hit or see a Fish. Hopefully things improve when the ice is gone. And they hold back a little water. I think the snow pack has got them a little nervous this spring.

How long were you there for? I was quite surprised it wasn't packed there, with the amount of traffic on the road. When I chatted with F&W, She mentioned that they would be behind a few weeks in raising the water levels. So unless your hand launching, it looks like it could be 3 weeks at least before anything of size can make it on the lake once the ice is off.

It's the water temperature Mike, it probably won't warm up for another 1-3 weeks They should be good and active around then.

Ya I know I used to carry a thermometer with me but I gave up because after you drive for an hour and a half a spend the money on gas sticking the dam thermometer in the water is not fishing is not fun. The ice needs to be gone before it warms up. But without Bullshead I’m out of options for decent fish. Maybe got to try Whiteswan next weekend. Early for that lake too I guess.
