Default Developer's legal dept up the creek?

This makes me cringe and chuckle at the same time. Some developers could be making their legal team into part of the building in the near future;

20 stories is a little much to push through a Loop Hole.

Some old bag has entirely too much time on her hands. She should pick up crocheting or crossword puzzles instead of meddling in other peoples' business. I can't imagine that the extra 20 floors on an apartment building in NYC would have ruined the skyline, obstructed the sun or inconveniences her in any conceivable way.

Agree. What a job that will be to remove 20 floors. I suspect an appeal coming.

Good for her. Its one thing to bend the rules, it's another thing to poop all over them. Sometimes it's good for powerful people to get a reality check.

There are reasons we have building codes and zoning laws, probably a little baksheesh in the right places to get it done . The old, it's sometimes easier to beg forgiveness than follow the rules.

they will stall it for years in appeals. They have the money for it and will move in residents to help their fight. There is always a higher court in the states
