Default 357 Cow Moose Help

Hey guys. I don't ever ask for help on the forum but a friend of mine has a dilemma. He has a cow moose tag for 357 and was going to go up to hopefully fill it.
His helper/local resident was an uncle but due to a miscommunication they had a falling out and now he has no permission in the area and doesn't want to go all the way up there not knowing if he will actually get a spot to hunt this late in the season.
I offered to place a call for help on the forum hoping someone would be able to offer some guidance as to lands where permission would be given and cow moose exist.
Both Dave and our mutual friend Jim are super responsible and respect landowners rights and would be the pair to come to hunt just 1 cow and nothing else.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ken

Default 357 moose

That is a big area and not sure where the original hunt was planned, but south west of Beaverlodge is a good start. Get the I hunter app and buy the County Map. Just have to stop and ask for permission, and there are some cattle lease lands and crown in that area.

Thanks for the messages and info. Its a very big zone and it helps to have some specific areas to concentrate on as they only have a few days for the trip.
