Default Some pics from Fairfax Lake last Weekend

Had a thread on here last week asking how the conditions were at Fairfax. Didn't get any replies or comments so we headed out west to get on the Forestry Trunk Road at Robb to find out for ourselves. Weather went from -19 to +4 within 4 hours. fishing was a little slow with about 2.5 ft of ice and no sign of anyone being on the lake in the last week or so. Our first and only ice fishing trip this year. I'm not much of an ice fisherman but it was a day well spent....

Looks like time well spent to me as well.
I like that lake. Used to go there camping may long weekends in past years.

Right on, it's nice to see a report from a spot that does not get much publicity.... good on you. Looks like you have what it takes to be a regular hard water person.

Thank you for the kind words. Its funny because the odd time I do go out, I always think to myself that "I have to do this more often". Maybe one day the passion will hit me like hunting always has.
