Default Marlin 444 Outfitter

Does anyone have one? How do they shoot? Good, bad ugly? I think I want one just wondering other opinions on them. Thanks

Please correct me if I'm wrong, the Outfitter is the same version as the 45-70 Guidegun, 'xcept in .444...correct? Anyhow, I have a standard .444 Marlin not the Outfitter, the longer one I believe. It's Marlin thru and thru and I very much like mine. It shoots quite accurately considering that they're not a bench gun. Very nice finish, smooth, doesn't misfeed, works very well. For the most part, I feed it 265gr Hornady FP's in both a full power load and a Trail Boss reduced load. I've also shot some .44 cast bullets, no problem. Very nice gun and caliber.
