Default Rimfire scope ring dilemna...

I have a NS522 .22LR rifle that I would like to put low profile 30mm scope rings on. The rifle receiver is not drilled and tapped for bases, it only has the dovetail slots. I am having a difficult time finding low profile 30mm scope rings to fit a 3/8" or 11mm dovetail. Has anyone else run into this situation and found a solution? Thanks in advance for any assistance...

You could try Warne rings that can fit either 3/8" or 11mm dovetails. Can't find low rings, but mediums are Model 731M and highs are Model 732M. Bought mine online at Canada Brass, and I think Cabelas might stock them now as well. I used the 1-inch rings on my Tikka T1x and am very impressed. Good luck.

Thank you for all of the information Jim, it is appreciated. I have ordered a set of Warne rings and am looking forward to mounting my scope seeing how it all works out.

- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.
