I have a fairly extensive coin collection, particularly silver dollars. I also seem to have more hats than necessary.

I like collecting money, land, and stock.
Can be fairly expensive though, depending on how serious you want to get.

I like old safes, the heavy kind, and Mustang/Ford paraphernalia.

knives, and I use to collect guns but I traded my collection for a bunch of teddy bears.....now I collect teddy bears. Admittedly my teddy collection is dwindling as every time I meet a snowflake I give them a teddy to hug.

I used to Collect Coleman Lanterns and stoves but sent most of that stuff down the rd a few yrs ago. Kinda lost interest. Had a pretty extensive collection of 50s vintage Evinrude and Johnson outboards, but have paired that down to 1/2 dozen or so .

My collecting days are pretty much done BUT I have quite a collection of Formula One race day crew shirts, assorted F1 parts, fine art collection (just hanging on the wall, some in storage) I had 10 yrs of Mad Magazine (had a subscription) in the 70's early 80's that my Mother gave away, not knowing better + my marble collection of 500 pieces (started collecting in late 60's),with those atrocities, still not sure we are related

CZ rimfires. Have 2 of every generation so far but won't stop until i have one of each, in each cartridge available, blued and stainless where available . Lux, American, and Varmint....

Thanks for bringing out more models CZ. Just had to do a Premium, Jaguar, and Royal in the 457 huh?

Little buggers don't really depreciate either. .

I don't collect anything. There is nothing of value in my home. Everything I have is from Value Village, bought on sale. Repeat, no valuables at my house......

I have a little anvil, about 8" if you are interested?

I used to collect coins with Dad, but haven't added a lot since he passed in 1993. I have a pile of buffalo copper nickels and some cool stuff I should sell. My kids have no interest in them.

Drones, way too many of them. Always looking for more DJI units.

F150's- haha Bruckbrush, funny guy. I have only had about 120 Fords.

Firearms- at the peak I had over 100 rifles and shotguns, nearly as many handguns, but they are nearly all gone now.

Tools- I added to them today, seems to be the one thing I have collected since I left home that just keeps growing.

Antique tools- I have a bunch of old stuff that I am going to sell, had the intention of restoring some old monkey wrenches and wood planes, but just never got to them.

Knives- I admit I have a soft spot for Kershaw assisted opening knives. I am always looking for Ken Onion models; leek and chive.

Salt water fishing gear. My latest obsession. I have found out that taking friends offshore on my boat is a very lure heavy proposition, especially when targeting ling cod and halibut.

My Pops has a TON of Inuit art, anywhere there's an airport, he's been.
He does airport communication.

Looks like you have some of the same stuff.

I actually have a modest fishing reel collection, Pfluegers and Penns mostly, but do not have them catalogued or know the history of most of them.
, I just like the looks of them and have actually used many of them.

I have no idea of what value you have sitting there by the window, or your other security but I’d suggest you put a sheet of lexan between your security bars and window. Looks like someone could just reach in and grab quite a few reels.

Not me, but I know a guy who collects old style blow torches. Even brought a couple back from his Britain trip. Apparently, if you declare them as blow lamps, they'll let you take them on the plane.

And for others like myself that's pretty true and we’d be better off if our houses were stripped of our “collections”.

I’m counting on a hyperinflation or the day the city is cut off from all outsiders and crap like my bent nail collection will be highly sought after!

Huh?
How would I be better off if my stuff was stripped?

Thieves don't generally steal stuff they can't re-sell, and there is a very small market for those reels.
As far as my "other security" is concerned, well that's classified!

That is awesome. Some oldies I see and I’ve got a few of them myself from my Dads collection.
