Exclamation Latest scam fax

I just read a very convincing (haha) email, from a law firm on letterhead; The Kent Law Firm, (verified) at 3355 Lenox Rd NE Atlanta Georgia (verified) signed by Barr. Robert Kent, who is the guy in the big chair there. It is a Bankruptcy firm.

I called them to notify them that someone was sending out these letters, of course my namesake has died, leaving me $18,500,00.00 (lol).

The receptionist said I was the 32nd Canadian to call her this morning, that they were just amazed how nice and surprising it was for us all to forward information to help them in the investigation.

What they did not think of, and thanked me for was that this was likely the work of a Creditor that lost everything, and is blaming their firm. They said it shed new previously unthought information, and turned them another way.

Maybe some of these letters we get are retaliatory for something, not just a scam to get 20$ or a 'filing fee' out of us.

My fun for the morning.

I guess this is one that I will not see as I don't have a fax

People will try anything, you'd be surprise how many gullible people there are out there that get sucked in to these kinds of scams

When scammers call especially the fake Microsoft call I love to keep them on the line forever if I have the time as guys calling probably make money by scamming people and as people say time is money. I try to get it to the point where they start getting angry at me . I use comments like am I supposed turn on the computer? How do I turn it on again? Etc etc.
Then I ask to speak to his supervisor and continue . I also keep saying I am hard of hearing can you tell me that again etc etc. Near the end I always say can I get your home phone number so I can call u at home when the time is better for me.
