Default 'I don't remember the attack. I'm sick'

https://edmontonjournal.com/news/cri...-d0358306b2f7/

Oh, and sorry about your husband and father.......it's going to be Vincent Lee all over again.

I've got a pretty bad memory myself, and I've been sick once or twice, but strangely enough I've never bludgeoned anyone to death. Or killed them with a knife, or actually harmed anyone. But hey, it's a plausible excuse, and he is going to get the help he deserves. Wait for it.

I can't imagine having the forethought to smuggle in a hammer and machete while waiting you turn for an appointment would not demonstrate absolute certain intent but if it doesn't, all is lost...

He needs to be executed, and then let everyone forget that he ever existed.

No one takes blame for their actions

Always a bloody excuse

Kinda.like Trudeau and that idiot finance minister. Always an excuse for criminal behavior.

I was sick. I dont remember. But you knew enough to start your vehicle, drive appropriately to the correct address, bring two weapons, select the correct target, use the weapons, and surrender

But the rest is a blur

Any last words? Pull the trapdoor.

Next!!!

I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately, if killing someone with a handgun doesn't demonstrate intent, I'm not holding my breath.

I'm curious to know how the doctor and the murderer knew each other previously, and how that all fits into this terrible event.

I swear all the articles I read shortly afterwards stated the murderer was unknown and didn't have a history at the clinic. Now they all say they knew each other.

If he is really that sick just put him down, save the tax payers millions on treatment and incarceration, sorry but I have lost my patients with people who refuse to take responsibility for their actions, the new way of the world and encouraged by our fearless leaders, just say your sorry and it will be OK

Just that, IMO, if someone is carrying a restricted firearm, concealing it, doesn't have a license for it, and they use it to shoot someone, those facts should automatically bump the offense to premeditated. One would think that process of steps wasn't accidental....

Sounds like the kind of guy who would have a limited life expectancy in the general prison population.

Now without looking at the link, are you referring to the guy in red deer or the guy in Ottawa?

His move was right out of the Vincent Lee playbook. I hope he gets shanked in jail before we spend millions trying to rehabilitate him.

He will be let out on proper meds and not be able to own a hammer or big knife. He will be pardoned for his uncontrolled actions. I say an eye for an eye. but not going to matter what I say or think.

I said it on the other thread, this is Canada, and he'll be a free man with a new name in less than ten years. Coming to a neighborhood near you. Guaranteed.

Default tough call

Cop on scene should have give him 2 in the chest and 1 in the head when he threw the hammer. Got to wonder if the outcome and arrest would have been different if he was white. I would think that most Police officers have the fear they will be the one that has to shoot a black person and suffer the wrath of the BLM movement and subsequent riots.

What should have happened to him is the same thing that happened 5 years ago in Lillooet BC when a man walked into the Friendship Center and started assaulting people there with a hammer. He injured 10 people a few seriously and one who will never be the same due to brain injuries. Long story short, the man was restrained by patrons and unresponsive by the time the police got there. Police arrived and did CPR in an effort to save the attacker, he was pronounced dead at the local hospital...
