0715 Leave for the office
0720ish hit McDonalds for a small black coffee and a fruit and fibre muffin
0735ish arrive at office
0738 - 0800 check email, read online news paper login to AO
0801 The games begin

Last few years I have been working 2-10;00pm. So my morning depends on what time I get to bed. At present I get woke about 6;30-8;00 by the pup to go out, usually about 4-5 hrs after going to bed, kick him out and go back to bed for a couple more hrs. Then get up and put on the kettle, let the rat in.
Watch him attack Yo for an hour while I have a coffee or two or three.

5:30am: Alarm goes off
5:32am: Get out of bed
5:35am: Turn on kettle and get into shower
5:45am: Make coffee, have first smoke, check email
5:55am: Feed and water all critters, let the dog out, dose my aquariums
6:10am: Putz around putting on makeup while reading and writing on forums (AO and Canreef)
6:30am: Get dressed
6:40am: Get #2 son dressed, and yell at hubby and #1 son that they've slept in.
6:50am: Make coffee #2, sit on front step, have smoke #2, more forum reading, watch my bus drive by, curse my turtle speed in the morning, and vow to move more quickly tomorrow.
7:02am: Get to bus stop
7:04am: Get on bus. Read Calgary Herald or a novel on the way downtown.
7:40am: Get off bus and walk the rest of the way to work.
7:50am: Get to work, have smoke #3, wonder what horrifying deadline awaits in my inbox.
8:00am: Hell breaks loose. Manage it all. Look like a miracle worker.

Up at 5:30 unless the dogs see something in the field and want me to get up NOW !! by 6:00 the 3 s's will be done, jump onto the gator and run the dogs around the field, maybe change out the cards in the trail cams, Hit up the Chicken coop for eggs for breakfast back at the house by 6:45 make breakfast and browse through AO wake the kids up by 7:15 and out the door by 7:20. Been doing it 4 years now and love it

Wake up at 5:00 AM, check YD for possible action.
No action, shave, shower, & chit, get dressed and make coffee. Kick the Cockers out for their morning constitutionals, turn on the morning news.
Have my 2 cups of coffee while reading the paper on the deck.
YD gets up at 7:00, we sit and BS for some time, checking the honeydo list. Go to Post Office at 9:30.
If honeydo is empty, go check out what friend may require a hand.
If no help is required, usually have a wobbly or two with him, go home, and watch YD mow lawn, or attend her lily gardens.(no time for that crap, even though it makes the yard look good.)
When she is done, check again for possible action.
No action, have a snooze and wait for YD's call for supper.
Have a wobbly or two on the deck after an excellent repast, and bs with YD for a few more hours.
Hit the sack for the night after the news.

Deal with the three 'S's and out to get dressed by 6:00
Hit the road at 6:05
Arrive in the parking lot at 6:45 and wait until around 7:15 some mornings to get a spot as someone pulls out (sometimes I luck out and pull right in)
Walk to the shop and sit down to check my email while I have a muffin and some chocolate milk
7:30 is the team meeting and off we go for the day. Some days we run like crazy, some days we check forums over, and over, and over, and over etc

Home by 6:40 most days, sit around and do nothing until bed at 9:30pm

I had a room mate who used to set his alarm a full hour before he had to get up. It was one of those loud buzzer types. Every time it went off, he would groan like a big ape and smash it with his hand and go back to sleep for another 10 minutes. I of course woke up with the first buzz of the first alarm, drove me insane!

mornings are tough, depends if I golfed, played ball, hockey, or what have you the night before, and who was around! lol Usually get up between 6 and 8 sometime, check phone, get kids off to school, make coffee for wife and I by 9ish. Seldom breakfast for myself, but usually make for the rest of the family. If I feel like working that day, then so be it, otherwise its either out to a lake for some fishing, or out to a field to shoot something. lol usually have to be back around 4ish for kids sports and afterschool activities.

then it starts over again (usually 3 days a week) hockey being the tough one as ice times are so late at night. few beverages, and tuck in for the night again! I love my job!

Wake up at 6:00am, put coffee on, feed the dog, have a shower, have a piece of fruit and yogurt for breakfast, wake the wife up and have coffee with her and chat for for a few minutes, out the door and off to work at 7:15 same thing monday to friday. Saturday and sunday are the same as well except for the wake the wife thing.

Today I decided to change our routine. I woke my son just before 0600 and threw him in his bathing suit, jumped into mine and we hit the pool for a 45 minute swim.
A quick shower then dressed and out the door. Just eat at my desk and he eats with his friends at dayhome.
Rolled into the office feeling ALIVE. Ready to take on the world.

You own a swimming pool? That is a rarity here.


4:30 Wake up
4:30-4:50 Use facilities, Brush teeth, Get dressed
4:50-5:00 - Go to bag up room and pack my lunch
5:00ish to 5:15/5:20 - Eat breakfast - Bowl of Oranges w/h whipped cream, A banana and some Chocolate milk, Occasionally substitute Bananas for Waffles/pancakes
5:45 - Hop on bus leaving camp to the job site.
6:40 Arrive at Job site
7:00 Day of puppy making begins.

I would give you my morning routine, but the other half who is on AO but doesn't sign on ever and just creeps around here reading everything I write would catch on to my daily doings while she is at work. Lets just say that I am very very busy all day long from 0715 until she gets home.

0440 get up, check BlackBerry to see what email I got from work
0445 grab tablet and hit the head (it's a guy thing, reading on the throne)
Check hotmail, AO, CGN classifieds.
0455-0515 shower, shave, teeth, etc
515 get dressed and head downstairs
520 quick check of house for issues (water leak, failed furnace, AC etc)
0525 grab a cinnamon rasin English muffin with PB for the drive
0530 backing out of the garage
0545 hopefully at bottom of Confed before stupid bus lane comes into effect
0550 at office, get second closest parking spot to door, between old red Explorer and black Super Duty
055-??? Boot up computer, stupid MS XP!
0600-0700 plan day, check meeting schedule, read reports from my guys, etc
0700 building cafeteria open, say hi to same 3 other early birds, order bacon, egg and cheese on multigrain bagel, extra mayo, tea with honey and 1.5 shots of cream
0710_0730 read g&m and Herald online, IM with boss if he is in town
0745 busses roll in with crew, start day

Reading thru that is sad, I have done that 5 days a week for 8 years as of last Wednesday, I need a life.
