So earlier this year someone was asking about this. I have done it now for awhile now and finally got some pictures last night to show.
It is so relaxing to paddle around and get in nice and close to structures and were the fish may be hiding.

Where do you put the gear though, probably can't take much stuff out with you. Do you wear a back pack or something? If you tip are you going to lose your stuff??? I think for the price a kayak is still paddling and maybe a little more practical for fishing.
Last night I just took what I was using and a pair of pliers. But normally I wear a fly fishing vest or a small backpack, and strap a tackle box to the deck. All things in the small tackle box and or back pack are in dry bags. As for loosing things if I dump, the only thing would be the rod if I were to let go of it. If I am using my fly rod, it has a leash for that reason. It is next to impossible to flip a paddleboard over by just standing to close to one edge.

Nice! Yeah it seems like they would be difficult to tip, but I see the Newbies fall off all the time. Seems like once people get the hang of it they go fine over boat waves and everything. Thanks for the reply.
I also have been doing some paddle board fishing. I mounted some rod holders on a milk crate and tied it to the deck. That way I can bring 2 rods and I throw some gear in the milk crate. I will see if I can post a picture.
It's a great way to catch fish and also a handy way to fish new lakes without a boat.
