Default Coleman

Curious if anyone could tell me if Coleman Fish and Game Pond is accessible by car. If so how do you get there?

I tried going that route a bit but had to turn around because the off road people in the area absolutely destroyed the roads. I googled map it from chinook lake and told me to go a different route and was curious if that road would just be as bad.

It’s never been accessible by car. Access it from Knowles flats. Need pretty good ground clearance to get up the switchback.

The first access by the gun range used to be accessible by vehicle.. but the quad/side by side crew destroyed the road. A guy could 4x4 it if it was real dry… lil tricky but doable.

The west side approach was drivable last summer, but the muddier crew was hard at work bogging the hell out of that approach as well so I don’t know now.

Park by the gun range and she’s a short 1 km hike.

Sorry i am not from the area. If i was to park by the gun range is that the same area as the stagging area around there or is there somewhere else I could park? I experienced first hand what the quadders have done and it is a realy unfortunate situation they had to do so much damage to the roads.
