Has anybody here fished the dam/res. by boat or foot?

yeah, by boat. trout are bigger this year than in past. maybe all the flood water washed them down.

Nice, where is the boat rampand camping located?

Main boat launch and campground are at east end. Look for signs off of highway 3. Cottonwood campground at bottom of dam, some electric sites. Two other boat launches on west side. Go north of Cowley on highway, takes you north of dam, then go east, Will hit launch in a few minutes, then another a couple minutes after that. West launches are best access to go up castle, crow, or oldman rivers. Was a campground at one of these launches, but shut down now. Can launch from east, but bit of a ride to get to west side if thats where you want to go. Google a map, should show everything. There is a road that follows north side of dam from the main east side to the west launches also.
