Peppers lake

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone was on peppers lake south of ram falls yet this year and was wondering the ice report, and mainly if the fish are biting! I would also like to know what they were biting on. We plan on going on the 28th

Used to fish this lake religiously during the holidays back when I used to get away to the cabin with all the boys...kids now so not so much..lol.was always good though,we fished just to the right along the north shoreline not 50 yrds from the boat launch..lots brookies at all depths.lake drops off ver fast so 15' from shore yur in 10' plus water.tiny power bait rolled Into balls or a tiny chunk of worm always did it.theyd always like one color over the rest so everyone use a different color until ya figure it out..before dark was always the best but some mid day action...good luck lemme know how ya made out..miss that litl lake

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. We went out today instead of the 28th and the bite was on! We limited out in about an hour and a half and will definatly be back soon!

What kind of size?
How is access?

I'm heading out there tomorrow. Any idea what the access is like. I thought they didn't plow the roads up there in the winter.
