Default Mooneye in RedDeer River trib?

Are there typically Mooneye In RedDeer R Waskasoo creek?

Is this a Mooneye? The Dorsal fin starts before the anal fin and the eye was silver, not gold. I compared it to what i normally catch and it is different. I'm still not the most experience angler so i don't know for sure.

The trib was bloated cause of the flood so i was wondering if this guy is a foreigner brought here because of the flood waters.

Caught Today:
Small Mooneye? Caught in Waskasoo creek today. Jun 23 2013

What i normally catch:
2lb Goldeye. Caught in RedDeer R in town.

What do you think?
