Salters lake ice
Since there is always open water at Salters lake because of airation, Does the ice melt faster there?

I, for one, don't know but sure would like to know if I'd be wasting my time going this weekend.
If anyone knows the ice conditions could you let us know? Thanks in advance.

Just took a drive to Salter and there are at least 4 or 5 people fishing it.
Don't know the ice thickness though, sorry

The short road into it wasn't plowed but there was a car in there in the parking area. The parking area is snow covered with about 8 inches of snow and again was not plowed.
