It was the first shot. Going a few feet wide but went off a skate and in.
Least this is more entertaining than last night.

Lots of little breakdowns in this game and last. Chuck gives it away, Gio doesn't take the shooter or the pass, and Talbot misses a shot, granted far post, along the ice. I have to work tomorrow and am going to bed.

Agree, there was better effort and weren't out shot for a change but many mistakes. Backlund needed to hit that breakaway, and The ones you pointed out. Also as much joy as Oiler fans took from Talbot letting that first one in, that was a bad bounce and crap luck. Need to tighten up for sure. I think the first 10 games last season were ugly as well before they got their poop in a group. Lets hope they figure it out. On to the next one.

Yes Talbot let the first one in. However, Holtby had 3 goals against today and a SA% of .000. Now that is impressive!

Solid win tonight, Looch is on the board haha. Should have been a shut out but snuck out the back end. Little concerned with Lindholm getting slashed there, he was hurtin. Mangiapani as well, don't need big injuries already.
