Default Need a backyard welder-Calgary

Yup, I do! My trailer needs a bit of welding on the ramp, so if you know a welder
Please pm me their info. SW Calgary would be best.

Thanks

Talking

Sorry- had to laugh. SW Calgary would be best.

As a rural guy we say Alberta is best, but would look into Sask and BC....

Must be tough driving all the way across a city

(no harm no foul intended, just nicked my funny bone, good luck finding some help. If I was closer I would do it for you)

You could drive to Vermilion quicker than it takes us to drive across the city! haha

Hey I understand when I am coming to the city, and I have to meet someone in St Albert, and Millwoods, and 137th, and Cabelas south.... adds 4 hours driving to a 7 hour drive lol.

If I have to drive 4 hours I better be 200+ miles away from where I started for hours ago lol!

Lol gotta love when family asks to pick something up as it’s in Calgary. Never fails it’s across the city!

For the OP, you are welcome to use my welder although I am in the NW. I would do it but may need to get a good grinder for repairs!

I use a guy that is out towards Millerville, just off Stoney trail down 22. he does all my welding for me on my trailer (has it there now). he doesn't charge high rates but does amazing work.

Send me a PM and I will get you his information is you want

How big of a job? I have a fairly inexpensive mig welder. It's only got a 20% duty cycle and go go very thick on the material, more of a hobby grade machine.

The hinges on the ramp need to be welded. Probably add apiece of angle iron the full length to make sure they don’t get pounded out again.
