Default bunk placement for my 12 footer

Just setting up my new trailer for my 12 footer. I need to adjust the bunks.

Should the bunks be:

a) | _| |_ |

b) | _ | | _ |

c) |_ | | _|

I applogize for the crude diagram lol, but you guys get the idea. The vertical lines are the strakes and the horizontal lines are my bunks. Looking at the boat and trailer from the rear.

Thanks..that is what my first thought was. But if the bunks are against strakes, wouldn't the strakes kind of serve as a guide? if the bunks are as wide possible (C) would the boat not be more stable?

small boat, you can move it to where it needs to be before you tie it down. Not heavy. Good contact with bunk to get weight distributed and good to go.
