Default Buck Lake Info

Headed to buck for the first time, any info about this lake would be helpful, boat launches, shallow areas to watch out for? I'm Fishing from a 24' pontoon boat

Only one place to launch that boat is at the boat launch on the north side of lake.
shallow for 75 yards .

I heard buck lake leisure also has a launch, is it a crappy launch or is it ok?

Yes at the south end, it is better roomier for launching larger boats, there is also a dock there.

Nice launch - also it's a public launch so if that loser comes raging wanting you to pay to use it - tell him to pound sand or offer to pound his face.

Google "buck lake bathymetric" and you will see the area the local refer to as "propeller point" relatively clearly...avoid that.

Better have a 4x4 if you are going on the south side ....sand if i remember right and shallow.no parking except down the road.

So BLB doesn't own the launch in town? He tried charging me once. I think I fell for it. Why does he think it's his to charge for?

That sounds like fraud to me. I wonder what the RCMP would say knowing he is scamming people in paying him to use a public launch.
