Default Angling Records

How would you be able to claim a new AB record catch? Would you have to contact Fish & Wildlife or do you just take pictures of the measurements and weight?

Default New record

There are 2 categories for each species, C & R and Catch & keep. Go to AFGA website and they have PDFs of the forms you will need to fill out.
For catch and release, take clear photographs of the fish on a rigid measuring device and with you and fish.
For catch and keep, you will need to get fish weighed on a certified scale (at grocery store or butcher shop) and the usual length weight witnesses etc
Let us know how you make out.
Good luck and tight lines!

Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame

International Game Fish Association
https://www.igfa.org/

if you have any question just ask
