I have the bet with 700.
He is gone from AO.
Keenan put the Flames' captain with Huselius and the feisty Daymond Langkow on Dec. 1. Since then, they have combined for 22 goals, 20 assists and 42 points in nine games.
Flames are on FIRE.

my top three hated teams are:
redwings
stars
flames (but this position alternates between a few teams....the albertan in me still likes to see them do well for some reason...)

I'm starting to wonder about Keenan... he has the rep of a hard-ass for sure... but in all the interviews and sound-bytes I've heard him in since he has arrived, he sounds really calm and thoughtful... his criticisms of players have been reasoned and mild. Hasn't yanked anyone around, benched, etc.... odd....

calm before the storm.......he tends to be like that until he blows...and then it all goes down the drain.

Gee we won in a shoot-out who would have thought the Oil would go to a shoot-out.....11-2 record in the shootout though and it's an eastern team we played so no biggie bout the point.

Calgary signed Cujo. Things could get interesting for number 1 goaltending if cujo goes on a role.

Flames have nothing...they will fizzle out as usual. Now that Lui is back in net for us, and he has seen his prego wife, he'll be back and focused and the Nucks will rise up the standings just like they did last year...when everyone thought they were down and out and came back to win the NW You can quote me on that at the end of the season

woooohooooo!!!! nice welcome back for cujo!!! you gotta love the BOA.... i must say the oilers played well last night..not great...but the flames just decided to take this one off i think..??...
can't wait till saturday!! the re-match will be fiesty i am sure!
i gotta admit i am not liking stortini......his fighting "style" (or should i say hugging style) is useless....he challenges a player to a fight....hugs said player so tight that no punches can be trown and then beaks off at the player when the refs break up the scrum....useless imho...
i was impressed with glenncross lastnight...looks like he will be a valuable addition to the team.

Iggy, Conroy and Huselius combined for about 5 minutes of ice time in the 3rd.... at least Keenan was helping Cujo get his 600th.

I agree.... but he's an energetic player and is strong on the puck on the boards, just don't let him stick handle.
Go OIL!!

huh.....
Calgary gets OWNED by the girls from the north and only 2 posts about it....
Have you guys totally given up on this year?
Cujo looked very quick last night, but the size of the rebounds was massive. I hope he was just shaking the rust off.
Calgary needs to find some consistency. At times they look like world beaters.. At others ... not so much.
Watch out for that game in Calgary.. How long do we lose Goddard for?
Calgary will not take this beating lying down. Next game could be wild.

Nope... haven't given up yet. But I think that game was for Horcoff, and they probably won't keep up the momentum... and Moreau needs to stop fighting because he falls down too much
Cujo looked so-so but way too many rebounds... and what was he thinking coming out of his crease during the fight.... did he really think he could take Garon??
Goddard was only gone for the rest of the game, he should be back.

Remember back when Ryan Smyth got traded and all you Coiler fans were sheding big alligator tears. The one thing that got you threw it was the thought that the flames and (SUTTER) would have to do the same thing as we could not afford to sign are key players.
Kipper signed long term.
Iginla signed long term.
Phaneuf signed long term.
Regehr signed long term.
See what happens when the players love playing for a team and you have a GM that can take care of business.
