Arachnodisiac is exactly right. This situation calls for absolute professionalism.
We need to voice our opinion in a responsible, professional way. No one is more outraged about this than I am. My fondest memories as a child are hunting with my father and grandfather, and I want those memories for my kids as well.
Somehow the walking dead, transformers, and any number of violent shows are acceptable for our kids to view, but not a hunting show.
I am volunteering to do whatever is possible to make our point, just so long as it is in the proper way. The worst thing hunters can do is come off to the general public as uneducated, or ignorant.
Give me ideas and suggestions as to the best way to go about this, and I will spearhead whatever we arrive at to lead the way.
Email me any time at
Leigh.dudley@cpsagu.ca and I will try my best to organize an educated, deliberate campaign to make our case.
Enough is enough, it's time to stand up for what is right, and what has shaped our young ones in both the rural and urban communities.
I want better for my kids than what the more vocal anti hunters would have for our youth.
