Just what I said. You really shouldn't be in the bush with your attitude and disposition. Hope your night mares are slowing down.

Really?

I've had enough of them at close range. They like the smell of my farts or something. My son was stalked by one just before he got to his tree stand last weekend. I went with him for an evening hunt back to the stand to check things out. We were there 15 min and that cat was right back there. I don't care how "curious" they are, when they are hanging out around livestock and children I don't think they need to be excused.
When they are chasing the toilet paper on the bottom of your boot they can meet mister spitfire too.

I was stalked by a cougar this one time too. Quite unnerving. I just ended up buying her a drink though.

(You just had to know somebody wuz gonna go there... )

Seriously though, I can readily appreciate how being on the receiving end when nature asserts the object lesson that Man is simply another part of the food chain would set a guy back on his heels. Glad it ended OK. And I'm also glad you posted this because my son and I are just getting into hunting and a reminder like this is rather helpful.

Default Seem to be more around

I got this one on a trail cam recently.
A farmer 10 mile away said he has 2 on his land.

Default Glad you are safe

From someone who has watched you since you were a 10 year old on horseback trying to rope a coyote, I'm glad you are still around. From the look on your face the next night at the house warming party, I would say you were still some rattled. keep that 44 Mare's Leg close next time you head up that big hill. I want to see you grow old like me. Then you can really chase cougars. lol N
