Default Hwy 63 and 881 closures

anyone stuck on these highways? I lucked out and got a place in Anzac yesterday. Twitter is saying Grassland is a zoo with all parking lots in town full of semis and trucks,,, trafic into town from both sides backed up a kilometer. I suspect that the Koreans running the Shell, and the Lebanese running the Esso, are having problems keep fresh cash register tape in their machines,,,lol
Drive safe if your out there, and keep your fuel topped up, there could be a runn on gas and diesel if this goes on much longer

Yup, 881 is closed at 240 with a multiple vehicle collision. I am waiting just south of ft Mac by the 881 turn off and it looks like I will be heading back to town. Good thing I booked a room this morning just in case.

your lucky to get a room, there is a peewee hockey tournament on in fort mac this week, so getting a room normally is tough, even tougher with a tournament going on, good luck

I spoke with Pauline @ the Sawridge and she said few teams won't be making the trip. At 8.00 am she said there was still rooms available.
