Moose in 151, 152

Good morning, everyone,

With ten years priority and only being able to hunt on Saturdays, we were going to apply for 151, 152. I would like to get a zone within about a three hour drive or so of Lethbridge and this sounded like it might fit the bill.

However when I went to do the draws this morning I ended up chatting with a fellow who hunted those zones for cow elk last January .. fresh snow and it sounded like they put on the miles and saw virtually nothing...

I would like to get my son a sporting chance at a moose - now I am kind of afraid that I might be not doing that at all ... Personally I have not hunted in that area for many years.

Maybe 102 ?

Hunted antelope down there 2 years ago. Saw a nice bull and a handful of cows right along the river. Might make for a fun canoe hunt.

In 152, go to Mahtzwin creek, get a slip from EID first. Guaranteed to get a bull moose there along the river or gophers and coyotes are extinct next year ; )

I can't remember if finnegan is in 152 but I saw a few bulls around there years ago.
