Default Dayne Majeau giant 4x4

Just got my latest issue of Bowhunter Magazine and on the front cover is Dayne Majeau, from Alberta, with a giant 4x4 velvet Whitetail. I heard rumors of this buck last fall, and what a gorgeous deer! Congrads to Dayne on a tremendous deer!

I don't think you can trust that guy!! Probably carved those horns outta foam!! Made them look all velvety-like!!
Him and some Alberta outfitter made up some story as well about having to eat squirrels and skunks for 2 weeks on a Stones sheep trip after a grizzly ate all their food!! Indeed!!

Bowhunter did an awesome spread. It really captures the story and Daynes talent behind a lens. He couldn't of picked a better magazine to represent that deer.

Not sure what this is in reference to. Just wanted to pass along the news about this fantastic deer. From what I read, Dayne put in his time to learn about this particular deer and how to hunt him. A giant mainframe 4x4 with a tine over 17"! Amazing animal.

No jealousy beaver hunter......just trying to make things right....Dayne told me a grizzly ate all their meals on the Stones sheep hunt.....and had to eat squirrels and skunks! Well, I can tell you the facts to set things straight once and for all.....the two showed up on my step with a great Stones ram. They LOOKED like they ate squirrels for two weeks. Skinny as rails those boys!! And man 'o man...........they SMELLED like they were eating skunks for two weeks!! I smelled them as they drove past Wonowon!!
Truth be told........it wasn't the grizzly that ate the boys' meals.......it was the Alberta outfitter!!! Ate 'em while Dayne slept at nite!!!

He needs arm extensions, so he can move further back. Nice buck!

If you look at the ears on the deer there's no photo magic. That buck IS all that.

Default Nice deer

But not a true 4x4 as everyone is going crazy about. Its a 6x4 with a great net score. Heck of a buck. One can only dream, hats off Majeau.

No, it is a main frame 4x4 with abnormal points.

There is no denying that buck is "all that" but i agree with piker. No need to try and exploit perspective and stand as far back as possible from the animal. Let it speak for it self. Just something that irratates me

This deer is enormous in every photo from every angle. Trail cams to field photos. He isn't straight arming a 125 this is a true giant that nets well into the 200s.

I actually find that pictures don't do the real big bucks justice. This is a giant buck.
