I'm retired and shoot at least a few almost every day.......last year I shot over 4000 by myself (I keep a log). Plus the ones shot by friends who come to visit.

So far I'm over 300 and it's not the end of February yet.

I spent 2-1/2 days shooting them in the summer of 2014. Based on that experience..in about 3 months...I'm flying out there with my nephew and have thousands of rounds of rimfire ammo for about 7 full days of shooting. You might not believe me if I told you how much. lol Will we use it all? Good question...we certainly hope so! Planning on adding probably 500 rounds of 12ga. to that total. Might be some upland gophers to contend with. There were in 2014!

OK , got ya! no need to see more. I did not realize the damage you guys are inflicting on these beautiful little critters that aerate the ground.
One day I would like to get out and try this sport.

Haha yea i have some pictures taken at mid impact and those are pretty explosive. The rimfire stuff is more "fur friendly" but limited for range.

His buddy is in the foreground and too the right.

You can see the size of holes they make.

Some were easy pickings.

Me and my bro took down 24 on Friday. Including the first one of the day. Which ate a 7.62/39 at about 15 feet. Triple backflip and his rear leg landed next to the truck.lol should have recorded it.
