Default Three-point elk question

What happens if the elk has irregular antlers, 3 on one side (of correct measurements) and 2 on the other?

Is this Elk legal to shoot under the "three-point" regulation?

3 on one side is REQUIRED. Clearly defined in the regs.

I know of a couple of cases where Elk were apparently left when one antler was less than 3 or 6.

These "Hunters" were ignorant of the regs, or just plain ignorant.

Good for you for checking, and good luck on your Elk hunt.

I'm glad I opened this thread as I was unaware of this. I likely read through too fast. Thanks AO.

I admit I didn't know that either I assumed it had to be 3 on each side, learn something new everyday.
