Default 260 Rem Owners_Question

Guys out there with a 260 Rem;

What is the best velocity you have been able to obtain using a 130 grain bullet and in what barrel length? And with what powder?

Mine is an "improved" but I can get a 129gr to go 3050 with H4831sc in a 26 inch barrel.

I was thinking of the Improved vesrion first but because I am building it on a SA, I am dreading feeding issues. My goal is to launch a 130 Spitzer at the magic 3,000 fps number with a bit of pressure tolerated. That may be wishful thinking! We'll see.

My issue was not with feeding but with COAL cutting into case capacity, I wanted to use the magazine.
