I read the article and I'm confused about one thing... one guy gets a lifetime ban the other gets a 3 year ban? The reason for my confusion is if your an accomplice to a crime don't you usually get the same punishment as the one who pulled the trigger(so to speak)? 3 year ban vs a lifelong ban is miles apart.. One guy rolled snake eyes and the other gets his hand slapped...

Except the guy who got the "hand slap" is going to spend 2 months in prison, curled up with his new husband named Bubba. I'd say that about evens it out!

Reason: spelling
He will be in a minimum security prison is my guess..daycare IMO.. the same place people who don't pay their no insurance fines go.. or perhaps a work camp where the govt pays inmates stupidly well for minimum work. When I was young and stupid I got sent to one of those work camps for 10 grand worth of no insurance fines... I stayed 13 days and it was called even and released. He prob got jail time in lue of the 7000 dollar fine...

Quote from article:
"The probation order also prohibits him from hunting or applying to hunt for a three-year period anywhere in Canada. A Wildlife Act order was issued which prohibits him from hunting in the Province of Alberta for 12 years, as well as other reporting requirements."
He got 3 years in Canada and 12 years in Alberta. The guy from BC got a lifetime ban in Alberta and as far as I can tell is still free to hunt anywhere else in Canada. That jacka** should have got a Canada wide ban as well.
