Default chain lakes

I was there last week, pulled a few bows out. The ice has recessed quite a bit, but there was about 25 inches of ice where we were drilling near the boat launch on the south end. I drove my 4runner on, no problem - watch out for a few low wet spots near the boat launches. There were others out there with their pickups as well. GoodLuck!

was there Fri. and Sat last week.Ice was deteriorating fast.I would guess 18" of ice Sat. and rotting fast.Only a couple of people brave enough to drive on.I wouldnt drive on myself and most people thought the same.Of the 30-40 people there only 2 drove on.The bite was non-stop both days, hitting velveetta, power bait and worms equally.Should be no problem walking on anywhere.
