Default Excess walleye tags, can I get more?

A guy at work today told me that once the under perscribed walleys tags are open to reserve or purchase that anybody including someone who has been drawn can buy more tags. So if I am drawn for class A tags I would be allowed to purchase class B and C as well. Is there any truth to this or is it BS.

I think tundra may have been agreeing with lethal that it is BS. I'm not certain though.

According to the informaiton on the draw sheet, you can only hold one draw license.

I think it's silly you can't get additional if they aren't all sold.

Definatly BS. One tag type per WIN card or person.

On the surface I don't disagree that should there be unused tags that one should be allowed to pick another up...maybe a max on two tag types per WIN. Afterall, by having tags they are setting a quota. It would be nice to see that quota filled and I would have to guess this would in turn help with managing the fishery to some degree.
