Default Bow River at Cochrane?

Any pros out there that can help with a Bow River question?
I am heading to Cochrane for the weekend and would like to get out the fly rod. I have looked at the regs, tring to determine if the Bow is open to fishing at that area. Not being familiar with the area, the highways, creeks, etc that the regs reference, I cant identify the portion or the river in the regs that pertains to the Cochrane area. Is it worth fishing under the HWY 22bridge in town? Thats the only place I know. Thanks for any help?
kidd.

I was there last spring I think like april 15 or something, right under the bridge,
fished for about 3.5 h and not even a bite, the current was fast and strong,
there were guys in a jet boat fishing up the stream all morning caught only 2 12" bows... I was a bit disappointed but happy enough cause all water around edmonton was still under 6" of ice

Report back if you go there next week,

Cheers !
