Default Some four legged beast

Something has topped my garden beans and left about six inches standing.All beans have been eaten and destroyed.The only Critter that I have seen is a small red squirrel is it the culpert?

What kind of tracks did it leave? I assume your garden has soil that is soft enough that a critter would leave tracks. Sounds like deer to me.

No tracks as it rained a lot not a deer as I live in town and never seen one.no gopher holes or pocket gophers

Squirrel will happily collect and store the beans for later. I would not rule him out.

I've had coyotes pull and eat all of my carrots twice. Put a trail cam over the garden to find out.
