Default Public launches on Shuswap

Does anyone know if there's a public launch on the Saint Ives side of the Shuswap where I can leave a vehicle parked overnight?

That's a hard one bud. Not many of the launches on the Shu' allow overnight parking anymore. I'm far more familiar with the Salmon Arm of the lake but do swing up and over toward Celista some.

You guys looking to do some beach camping?

Call Westside Stores in Salmon Arm and ask for Todd. If anyone knows off hand he will.

And if you need any sporting goods while you're there that's also the best place to get it.

That's a lot of fun. The fishing has been off this year and with this recent batch of heat your likely going to need to drop rigs deeper than 30ft. That said I've had some great days in July running fast and deep with crocodiles and apexes.

That's if you plan on fishing at all.

Sending you a PM - I might be able to help you out. I'm up there tomorrow night and staying for the week. Rented a beach house, with dock and lots of parking across street. Scotch Creek / Celista area (if that's not too far off where you want to be).
