Dock Fishing the Shuswap

I am in shuswap right now, and near the canoe area. I fish the second canoe dock alot, only get a couple of bites every once and then, so anybody have any tips. Dont have any flies.

It's a pretty darn big lake. Where is "the canoe area"? I've canoed in various places on that lake.

Is it near the three trees that are within 6 feet of each other? LOL

I know where you are but the fishing has never been that good for me from a dock. You should be able to catch a few char with some jigs on the bottom. You can try some mepps spinners or some spoons for rainbows. I've spent most of my time trolling and down deep at that. Best of luck and enjoy your stay. Rick.

Chuck some buzz bombz drop them down.. bounce them off the bottom. If you get bored find some of those sucker fish that are there.. We are heading out in the boat today with some apex's and streamers on the ole down riggers, I'll let you know how it goes later on today
