Heading to Lac La Plonge in a couple days and was wondering if anyone has been there, any tips they care to post. Looking forward to fishing the Beaver River for walleyes but not to sure if i want to waste alot of time chasing Lakers in La Plonge or not.

We were there in early June and easily limited out on lakers all were caught on spoons, silver & green gold & green. The lakers were still in shallow water we did not use any weights or down riggers. The Beaver river was high and dirty we only caught 6 eyes Walleye Divers work well on the Beaver

Around 6 lbs or so we did not weigh any of them. I caught a 12 lb laker there a few years ago. The river was not on when we were there, fish all over the fish finder but just not biting.
